NO roti canai & Nasi lemak for breakfast!

Filed under: Utusan Malaya — oneanuar @ 12:53 pm

BAHAYA ROTI CANAI

Kenapa?

Sebiji roti canai mengandungi kalori sama dengan 5 KM berjogging. Maknanya sekiranya kita jogging sejauh 5 km, lepas tu kita sapu sebiji roti canai serupalah kita tak jogging langsung.Dah tu kadang-kadang sapu sampai 2 biji dan langsung tak jogging. Selain dari itu, terdapat so much oil in roti canai. Nak uli tepung, taruh minyak, nak canai, taruh minyak, nak goreng taruh minyak. Dah tu, minyak tukang roti pun masuk sekali (peluh dia).
Bila kita exercise, kita peluh. Penyakit keluar bersama peluh, itu pasal kita sihat bila berpeluh. Sekarang, kita makan tukang roti canai punya penyakit pulak. Lagi satu, jangan makan roti canai yang tukang buatnya pakai cincin sebelah kiri. Faham-faham ajelah. Sebagai alternatif, makanlah capati. Makan 8-10 keping capati sehari pun no problem, anda akan menjadi sihat dan kuat.

NASI LEMAK

Nasi lemak pulak kandungan santannya tinggi. So cholesterolnya tinggi.Prof. Ungku Aziz ditanya apakah rahsia beliau sihat physical & minda pada umur 85. Dia cakap, dia tak makan atau jarang sekali makan nasi lemak seperti kebanyakkan orang Melayu.

KESIMPULAN

As many of us are approaching 30 yrs old with some are already in 30s, we should be kind and gentle to our body. The least that we could do is to be moderate in everything we do and watch out on our food intake. Eat healthy food.

Breakfast - Heart Attack

For those who always skip breakfast, drink at least a glass of orange juice.stay healthy! :) You’ve heard many times that “Breakfast is the most important meal of the day.” Now, recent research confirms that one of the worst practices you can develop may be avoiding breakfast. Why?

Because the frequency of heart attack, sudden death, and stroke peaks between 6:00 a.m.and noon, with the highest incidence being between 8:00 a.m.and 10:00 a.m.

What mechanism within the body could account for this significant jump in sudden death in the early morning hours? We may have an answer. Platelets, tiny elements in the blood that keep us from bleeding to death if we get a cut, can clump together inside our arteries due to cholesterol or plaque buildup in the artery lining. It is in the morning hours that platelets become the most activated and tend to form these internal blood clots at the greatest frequency.

However, eating even a very light breakfast prevents the morning platelet activation that is associated with heart attacks and strokes.

Studies performed at MemorialUniversityi n St.Johns,Newfoundla ndfound that eating a light, very low-fat breakfast was critical in modifying the morning platelet activation. Subjects in the study consumed either low-fat or fat-free yogurt, orange juice, fruit, and a source of protein coming from yogurt or fat-free milk).

So if you skip breakfast, it’s important that you change this practice immediately in light of this research. Develop a simple plan to eat cereal, such as oatmeal or Bran Flakes, along with six ounces of grape juice or six ounces of orange juice, and perhaps a piece of fruit.

This simple plan will keep your platelets from ticking together, keep blood clots from forming, and perhaps
head off a potential heart attack or stroke.

Influence/Association

There are two parts to influence: First, influence is powerful; and second, influence is subtle. You wouldn’t let someone push you off course, but you might let someone nudge you off course and not even realize it.

We need a variety of input and influence and voices. You cannot get all the answers to life and business from one person or from one source.

Attitude is greatly shaped by influence and association.

Don’t spend most of your time on the voices that don’t count. Tune out the shallow voices so that you will have more time to tune in the valuable ones.

“No” puts distance between you and the wrong influence.

You must constantly ask yourself these questions: Who am I around? What are they doing to me? What have they got me reading? What have they got me saying? Where do they have me going? What do they have me thinking? And most important, what do they have me becoming? Then ask yourself the big question: Is that okay?

Don’t join an easy crowd; you won’t grow. Go where the expectations and the demands to perform are high.

Some people you can afford to spend a few minutes with, but not a few hours.

Get around people who have something of value to share with you. Their impact will continue to have a significant effect on your life long after they have departed.

What you become..?

“The major value in life is not what you get. The major value in life is what you become. That is why I wish to pay fair price for every value. If I have to pay for it or earn it, that makes something of me. If I get it for free, that makes nothing of me..”

Profits Are Better Than Wages by Jim Rohn

Filed under: Utusan Malaya — oneanuar @ 7:31 am

My mentor, when I was 25 years old, dropped a phrase on me that changed my life forever when he said, “profits are better than wages. Wages will make you a living, profits can make you a fortune.” You know it is a bit difficult to get rich on wages, but anybody can get rich on profits. Profits change your whole attitude, even if you start part-time. Whether it’s part time on your entrepreneurial business, network marketing company or service business.

It can be a landscape business in the summer or hanging Christmas lights in the winter. It can be training, consulting or tutoring. It can be your hobby such as painting, writing, crafts, woodworking, computers or cooking. But once you start investing even part time effort into your own business, you will find how much more exciting it is to get up in the morning and go to work on your fortune, even if you’re only spending a few hours a week doing it.

How empowering it is to be able to go to work on your fortune every day rather than going to work to pay the rent. Now - it is noble to go to work to pay the rent, but if you could also parcel out part of your time - go to work to make your fortune. Your whole attitude changes; your spirit changes. It is in your voice. It is in your face. It is in your gestures. And then you can say, “I am now working full-time on my job and part-time on my fortune because I found a way to make profits.” Wow!

And I will know what you mean.

To Your Success,

> Problem Solving

To solve any problem, there are three questions to ask yourself: First, what could I do? Second, what could I read? And third, whom could I ask?

The real problem is usually two or three questions deep. If you want to go after someone’s problem, be aware that most people aren’t going to reveal what the real problem is after the first question.

Neil Armstrong once said, “You only have to solve two problems when going to the moon: first, how to get there; and second, how to get back. The key is don’t leave until you have solved both problems.”

Never attack a problem without also presenting a solution.

The best place to solve a problem is on paper.

Townsend Bell Indy 500 using Herbalife

Filed under: Utusan Malaya — oneanuar @ 10:51 am

Herbalife Ltd announced an agreement that makes it the official nutritional sponsor of IndyCar Series racer Townsend Bell for the 2008 Indy Car Series.

Additionally, Herbalife is sponsoring Bell’s team, Dreyer & Reinbold Racing, which includes placement on Bell’s car and uniform, for the remainder of the racing season.

“Bringing Herbalife to Dreyer and Reinbold Racing is an exciting thing for us,” Bell said. “Not only is it great to have another sponsor on-board, but more importantly, it’s great to utilize several products that can help improve the overall health, performance, and quality of life for the guys on the team.”

Herbalife will conduct a case study on the entire racing team, providing them with nutrition products and ongoing education to look into the role nutrition plays on the overall performance of the team.

Bell, 33, is a veteran racer who competed in his first Indianapolis 500 in 2006. The San Francisco native has raced in Europe and the U.S. in a variety of series including the FIA Formula 3000 Championship, 2001 Indy Light title, which he won, CART and the IndyCar Series, in which he’s made 14 starts between 2004 - 08.

The agreement makes Herbalife primary sponsor on Bell’s helmet which he will wear in all Indy races. Bell regularly uses Herbalife products including H3O(R) a fitness drink and Formula 1 Protein Shakes.

Bell had his start in the Indy Car Series Highlights in 2004 at the Kansas Speedway. In the April race in Japan, he finished 10th - the best finish for the team in 2008. He finished 22nd in the Indianapolis 500 in 2006 for Vision Racing; 15th in 2005 at the Michigan International Speedway for Panther Racing; and competed in 10 events for Menards/Johns Manville Racing in Nashville in 2004.

Lets live our extraordinary life with great cellular nutritions! ;)
